Guinea: FNDC postpones its demonstration to January 6th 2020.

The protest march that FNDC planned to organize tomorrow, Thursday, December 26, 2019, will not take place. It is postponed to January 6, 2020. The decision was announced after a meeting of leaders of the anti-third term front organized on Wednesday afternoon in Conakry.
The National Front for the Defence of the Constitution explains this postponement by the celebration of Christmas and the approach of the end of the year holidays. After careful consideration and an exchange with its managers, the structure deemed it necessary, for these reasons, to postpone its event until Monday, January 6, 2020.
The FNDC, through the national coordinator, Abdourahmane Sanoh, also announces that from January 13, it will begin a continuous protest throughout the country and abroad until President Alpha Condé renounces his new constitution draft, which paved the way for a third term for him.
In the meantime, they once again invite the international community to intervene before it is too late. Because the risks of destabilization of Guinea has never been as high as today, due to the decision of president Alpha Condé to change the constitution of the country to grant himself a third term in 2020.
