To Mr François Hollande,
President of the Republic,
Paris. la France
For the State dinner that you offer tomorrow Tuesday to Mr. Alpha Condé President of the Republic of Guinea. I am sorry to tell you that I refuse to participate in this feast.
I want to show my total opposition to the France-Africa reationships, this diabolical system based on cronyism, financial scam and rigged elections, the prototype of Alpha Condé’s tribal, corrupt and repressive regime.
This is not a question of people but a matter of principle. Mine is simple but definitely intangible: I do not eat with those who eat Africa.
So, dine without me. Enjoy your meal !
Please accept, Mr President, the expression of my most distinguished sentiments.
Thierno Monénembo, writer
